honestly this was a fantastic arc, Listen to the entire thing in one go only stopping when i had to and was sad about it. I am loving yhis series one of the best cultivation stories and the book has the best ending yet, loved it.
If you’re like me, you see the potential in this story. however, each book is the same. The MC “winces” and bows the whole book, acting like a peasant instead of being the bad ass he is. the ending is the same as the rest. barely scraping by in the fight, only to pass out..
So far this is the best novel in the series because the mc finally leaves the sect to do something. However, the mc is progressing way too slow and is honestly not a likable person.

Stop reading reviews. Everyone can find something bad with any book, but if you like a series, then you’re going to keep going with it. This book is good and offers a lot of insight on what has happened and what is to come!

Tao did a fabulous job writing this! Having to grow, realize your past isn’t your present, and being willing to move on mentally and emotionally is huge and he depicts it so well! Travis is my favorite narrator, and he as always was amazing reading this!
