Excellent planning, mediocre execution

Review from Acme →

If we break the story into bullet points of character progression, world development, and plot escalation: then this book looks top tier. The achiellies heel is in the execution. Despite being fascinated with the high points, I had to rewind slow parts multiple times because I couldn’t keep my mind from drifting.

An Adventure in Audio Form

I have over about 240 titles in my Audible Library and have not written a review for any until this series. This first book is a slow burner but it has to be to set you, and the character up properly for the world to come. In a matter of days I have poured my..

I do wish the MC had at least one OP technique. I know I know. I’m spoiled from the other cultivation stories. I like that this MC is more normal and not crazy OP… but at the same time I love OP MCs. This is a nice change of pace though. Now… that funny satirical..

Review from Chrysalis (A Fantasy LitRPG) →

I was hooked the moment I started this litrpg, and I’m new to the genre still. didn’t feel flooded with useless information like most of the stories in this genre, this novel is fantastic in relaying basic information as well as just enough to keep you informed as you’re entertained. the narrator is top notch.

10 out of 10 would recommend.

Review from Shadeslinger →

first LitRPG Novel and it’s gonna be tough to beat. Kyle Kirrin knocks it out of the park. Frank is now EASILY in my top 3 characters in SciFi/Fantasy. Excited to see if he can go further than 3 books because I would read 10 of them.

Wasn’t a fan

Review from Party Hard →

I’ve really liked some of this author’s other stuff, and I liked the premise of the world and characters. I was just disappointed in how heavy handed and cringy some of the “life lessons” were. The character development was less about the characters and building them as people and more about explaining what sexism is..
