Travis is always great with his characters but he did an excellent job with this book. Loved the character depth and setup of the story and the interactions between Ned, Frank and House. Definitely worth listening to if you like good fantasy elements. Also enjoyed the way the Arthur created his game world. Great amount..

I love the characters. I love the world they inhabit. And most of all, I love the magic system. INTENT is the most unique and interesting magic system I’ve seen in a long time.
I really enjoyed this book and the next few as well, as they started off as fun cultivation stories! But beware, the stories eventually turn into straight number-heavy, nuts and boltsy lit-rpgs that drastically change the feel of the books; I really wish the author kept to this book’s style for the entire series!
