Small disclaimer I had received the books in a raffle. Those that have read or listened to the first two books hopefully enjoy this one too it’s still early so the world is still still expanding as well as the mechanics but the author in my opinion gives each place a good flavor and purpose..
The books were great but the ending was such contrived trash that is so unoriginal that it dropped my raring 2 stars. I felt like I went from reading a good book to watching some crap TV series trying to get you to watch next season. Complete trash…passing on this series thank you!
I had a hard time finishing this book but I made it through. It was really hard to care what was happening to the characters. They’re very bland and I often found myself wishing I was reading something else. The performance was great as usual.

I hated the seventh book. This one carried a few of my irritations over but the payoff was worth it. I still hate the seventh book but loving 7 out of 8 so far isn’t bad.
