Still love this series, but this one seemed rushed. Everybody advanced too quickly and easily in the book, it just felt out of line with the pace of the other books. Won battles too easily as well. Hopefully the next one gets back on track.
Amazing story that keeps you wanting more and more. The narrator is amazing. I love that I recognize towns in Washington.

I love the books and the only issue I have is the over use of the word ” said” their are other words to use like shouted, spoke, responded , cried,ect listing to the word “said” 60x in a minute nearly made me walk way from the book with how annoying it got so fast

Do you like books where the mc regresses from adult to scared child? These books are great, but this one is so disappointing. A 50 year old plus ex king, crying like a baby for mistakes he would never make normally. How long can you watch the mc be outplayed and defeated before you’ve had..

I could never quite understand the attraction of watching others play video games. As much fun as it is to play yourself, why watch others? Most of this book is exactly that, watching somebody else’s characters level up. There are small parts of the book where some intrigue pops up, but mostly it’s pretty mindless..
