This book made the weak points in the prequels worthwhile. Great descriptive storytelling, character development, and plot.

I don’t even play video games and I thought this was a great book. I always wanted to keep listening to find out what would happen next. Great narration by Travis as always. Listen to this… you won’t be disappointed. I’m starting book two now.

Just more of the same good things to say about this book. I am truly enjoying this series even with the extra bits sometimes added in. I don’t mind some of them but do find myself skipping some parts but not because they are not good, but simply because I just don’t care about that..

Great characters and performances. MC is cool, resolute, and author kept him consistent. Although, the parts with the MCs love interest were too drawn out and became a bit tiring enough for me to space out at those chapters.

I absolutely loved this book! The game descriptions and selection narrative kept me involved and loved the characters.
First three hours are a bit dragging but it slowly picks up. Everything was necessary because it develops connections and hopefully brings you to care for the characters. After that I believe it gets more interesting not much action but the dialogue is fun to listen to. Thats all I have for now, but it..
The premise is interesting enough and I enjoy the characters, however it feels like the exposition is heavily drawn out.
