I always love Sarah Lin’s details. The inventive worlds and characters are as inspiring as the stories themselves. She should do a collaboration with Will Wight. Travis Baldree is always terrific.

Really good writer. Just enough info. No extraneous details. Lots of unexpected plot twists. Wide variety of different interesting characters. IitRPG, so lots of numbers and game mechanics, but I enjoyed it. i want to read the next book immediately.

Book one starts a little slow. The names can be hard to follow, and royal manners are very verbose. It’s worth getting through it though. It’s all just world building for a 10/10 cultivation story.
