ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. Kyle Kirrin did an amazing job. this was my first book back into reading and it’s already my favorite. Travis Baldrees narration is so good, and puts so much emotion into the story, I can’t listen to any other narrators. I would give this 100 stars if I could

After reading, I could straight away summarise that the world building and story development in this book are splendid.
War is heck, ya know? Mostly boring, waiting for battle, then frenzied and bloody, full of death and defeat. Some of the outcomes are a bit predictable but others are gob-smacking! Enjoy the ride!

The book itself is just a bonus. Travis Baldree is the best narrator I have listened to, and his ability to give each character a unique tone of voice, AND adjust their unique tone based on their feeling in the scene is spectacular.
