I, like many others, wasn’t really liking the main characters in the beginning but the author did a great job turning that around. The story moved along at a good pace, narration was perfect, and humor made me laugh out loud more than once. Just downloaded book 2.
This is really an amazing book. I’m excited to finish this and start the next one.

oh my god. that blooper chapter at the end poking fun at other cultivation books was legendary! I think I love this author now. The rest of the book was fantastic too, but I’m just so flabbergasted from that last chapter! I’m going to go immediately download the next book!
