Excellent story with great character development; intense suspenseful action and fight scenes… inspiring insightful discipline tale of perseverance and achievement.

it seems like a knock off, and there are some definite similarities, but dresden is really just a mash up of tropes too. easy read, fun lead character

I really enjoy the overarching story, but struggled with some of the exposition in the earlier books. This book is the payoff as various lore and character arcs reach fruition. I really enjoyed the Sage/Herald advancement paths and the characters had very relatable emotions.

loved Frank’s character. loved the unique twists this book brought to the lit rpg space. I really enjoyed it! I’m about to listen to the second book now.

The world building itself was adequate enough to progress the story and ensure the listeners knew enough to understand what was going on. this series is solid. i like the quantity and quality of several aspects of the series. it would be nice if an anthology audiobook was released. 10 audible credits is a lot for one series. though I don’t know the audible author payment schema so i wont begrudge the author on it. good books.
