Baldree gave an on point performance per usual, but found the story somewhat lacking. Too much rapid advancement through a poorly defined cultivation system/skipping over large chunks of time with one or two sentences instead of well developed scenes or examples. The author should also consider either being more creative with chapter titles or avoiding..
So far this series is great and I’m very eager to hear more. It reminds me of 2 other series I like. “The Dragon Heart series ” and “Monsters and Legends series “.

Enjoyed the story and the characters. Appreciated the interesting plot twists, and the skillful narration. I’d recommend starting at the beginning of the Cradle series to get to know the characters before reading or listening to “Uncrowned”.
