I love the plot and the pace in which the story progresses. I love the characters and personalities and world building. I’m going to buy all the audiobooks for sure.

may or may not try the third book. This book felt pretty slow and short at the same time. The main character lacks character. it’s competently written. I can’t help but feel like the books have been chopped up for money purposes. if the first 3 books were 1 credit I’m sure I would have..
overall the story isn’t horrible. give it a C-. I’ve read much worse but it’s not that great either. The major conflict is over a king’s quest over collecting MacGuffins. MC gets rare class. lets him do anything. he defeats BBEG bcause of it. token mentions of real life. token mention of relationship with parents…
It was alright

little on the short side.

Not too many complaints. the heavy eastern influences on the cultures were a little off-putting. Not very relatable as a westerner. I like..
