This series was recommended to me by my 30 year old son who has many hours of driving from one project to another. I suffer from anxiety and boredom & now I’m into the series. The narrator has a calming voice as he tells the story.

This story does an amazing job creating a magical world and establishing new ways to create vulnerability and growth for the characters. Narrator is SUPERB.
This story started out with good potential. A college student with a zoology major playing a game about Beast and Monsters. An interesting turn where he may have an upper hand able to use his studies to his advantage in this game but this book doesn’t really do that often if at all. He seems..

the series started off good but it feel forced now the “twist” are obvious and the character development is non existent same stupid decisions from the MC not to mention all the flash backs or pointless pov changes struggled to finish I probably won’t continue

least favorite of the series, but still pretty great.. have listened multiple times, and this wont be my last I am sure.
The books in this saga are getting better and better. I liked the 1st one but wasn’t crazy about it, but the longer I listen to them, the more I like them. I cannot wait to listen to the rest and I am already feeling sad about the saga ending at some point. Brilliant job..
