Awesome story and an always amazing performance by the amazing Travis Baldree. I start my mornings with this series and end my days with it… Now leave me alone so I can start the next book 😅

The in depth training the author goes into is great, narrator did a great job once again with all the characters !
The author has fallen for the temptation of making the protagonist boringly overpowered. otherwise, ok.
Hero origin story. I liked it, the world building is coming along, use of magic or (chi) brings a good twist to the saga.

The romance was forced and boring. They’re in love in like 2 weeks and next think you know he’s asking for permission. The books seem rushed. The battles are boring.The climax of each book is weak. Shame too. They’re almost good but feel lacking.
