Purchased this based upon book reviews on YouTube. Almost gave up, and glad I held out. The first half was dull for me, but necessary. The second half was very engaging, and the tale finds solid footing. Will definitely listen to the next book.

Overall, I liked the story, but I felt like I was listening to an RPG game being played. Maybe that’s not a bad thing, but it wasn’t quite the same as other lit RPG stories I have listened to.
