Literally ruins other books
Review from Unsouled →
It felt like something was always happening, action abound, danger around every corner. This book was a good marriage of the story and pushing the action to the fullest. Ruwen finally started to understand his breakthroughs, which was a big point for me as well. I am for sure excited to continue onto the next..
I don’t care what people say
Review from Divergence →
I don’t care what people say this was a great book even if there was a lot of POV switches I loved every second of this waiting till I got back from school to listen to it. I’m about to buy book 8 and feel the same way as I did with this because this..
First loser of the series
Review from Convergence →
I liked the first 4 books, fast paced, other perspectives when necessary to elaborate another characters personal thoughts, sadly, this one wasn’t like the others. do I care what ancillary characters think or feel? Do I need three chapters of training that don’t mean much to the story? Nobody does, but the euthor seemed to..
Good writing, story not as fantastic
Review from Unsouled →
This is a decent book, vaguely similar to Iron Prince. I wished it had more fantasy elements but it’s closer to a martial arts book. The “humble” manner of speaking gets a little tiring towards the end. For narration I like Travis Baldree’s other books, this one is decent too except for one glaring issue..
Okay so no one else was in tears at end? I don’t want to spoil it I’m just going to say Orthos gahhh I’m so happy. I felt like a weirdo because while i enjoy reading, there isn’t a book out there that has ever drudged up any emotion from me. As a anime nerd..
flash backs break me.
Review from Divergence →
there’s something about flash back memories in books and shows that breaks my emotional state of being. It feels like being forced to experience a story of the being of the story I’m in now. I keep thinking, why didn’t they just start with that story in the first book? Will they have more flash..
Love this series!
