I love the cradle series and this is where things move into full swing. Had a great time with this one.
While this story does have a plot I want to see through to the end. It is very drawn out. Three or four chapters for one fight, and chapters are not short. Also the main character has so many episodes of his thoughts on enlightenment it’s like the author let his mind wonder for two..

Good start to a series in the litRPG/progession genres. A lot of familiar tropes with some interesting twists. I frequently tune out during longer fight scenes in books, but these kept my interest. I look forward to seeing where the series goes!
The narrator perfectly creates characters without being garish. The setting, the descriptions, the animals and people living together and separately. One of my favorite characters is Edwin the horse.
