I just couldn’t handle the MC. Felt like everything was handed on a silver platter for him and then I have to feel sorry for him because his daddy was harsh/cold. I could feel the MC’s struggles and effort in other virtual reality game stories, but just can’t seem to like this one. Honestly struggled..

With each addition to the series I become more and more captivated. The narrator is exceptional with how he portrays each character and I easily find myself repeatedly in awe of the story telling. I only wish there were more hours in the day! Give this story a chance, you will not regret it!
Completely nonsensical world building and absolutely tragic writing. One of the worst things I’ve come across in the genre.
Calder’s story is much more fun then sharrah’s . He’s got a complex outlook on the events and his view is more interesting then the psychopathic assassin lady who only wants to eat and sleep . And this should have never been split between to series .

I liked the story overall, and Travis Baldree is a great narrator. But I need to lower the score for that ending. Cliffhangers like that show a lack of confidence in selling sequels based on the stories’ true merits and honestly should be illegal.
