This is a great start to a masterpiece of a series. Just wish it was longer.

Here our hero starts to gather allies and enemies alike. I wouldn’t normally read an ‘advancement’ series like this, but Cradle might be the best of the genre. Great characters and lively action with a lovable scrappy hero.

Best cliffhanger I have heard in a while making me want the next one now

Most interesting story and narration I’ve listened to since Red Rising. Couldn’t even press pause to get work done – thankfully book 1 is over now and I can return to reality, at least until I download book 2.

What should have been the “best” day of Ruwen’s life turned into the worst as it slipped back into the hard-knock life he’s recently been having. He wanted to be a Mage and clear his families disgrace instead he allocated to join the worker class… and wow, there’s nothing I love better than hard luck..

I am consumed with learning the outcomes. Watching them grow is so absorbing. The narrator is perfect for this story.

This story has a great balance between the following: Feeling like a futuristic mmorpg, giving gamers and creators excitement. Having a well developed story and intriguing characters. Being narrated by Travis Baldree adds that cherry on top for sure.

The story of this one seems a little strange. no clear goals or objectives are laid out, but the end of the book sets up the next one nicely. Narration is great, as always. The magic system is fleshed out a little more in this book, but it seems strange the way new rules are..

I can’t recommend it enough if you are looking at getting into the series. The books start good and turn into great.

Slower paced story but a lot of training and development. Baldree does a fantastic job as usual.
