At the start of this book the author works hard to make the main character seem like a good guy who gets a second chance via reincarnation. But almost right from the start he just goes around eating everything and everyone good or bad doesn’t matter. The dudes just a complete monster… literally I guess…

My only criticism is that this series should not have been written in the bifurcated formate that it was with two series race to ally telling the same overarching story by honing in on one protagonist perspectives for each. Next time just tell a bit of one protagonist and then the other in the same..

I love Travis Baldree and I love turtleme’s story it’s really amazing and deep without being hard to understand. Details come from left and right and it’s really immersive. Mr. Baldree nails all the voices and really builds these characters for me. TBATE is absolutely phenomenal and it’s really enjoyable.

I like this series, but the author jumps around to past memories, other events, etc. and if you listening while driving or working, it’s easy to miss the transition. The author and/or narrator should be able to do more to mitigate this. Other than that, it’s a rich storyline that is well told.

Another good book filled with action and an accelerated power increase for the MC. Although the plot was entertaining, the persistent battles, trials, and tournaments to keep pacing fast and the story exciting are beginning to feel more and more author-driven and forced.
I don’t know how I finished something this cringy. It was simple enough that I could ignore it in my library for several months and start listening again without having missed anything. The MC is basically a god so you never feel any concern for him, everything goes right and he never makes any wrong..
A mess but there is something there, a potential. i will be buying book 2.
I really can’t believe what a fabulous series this is. It just keeps getting better with every book. I purchased extra credits just because I couldn’t wait for my next credit to arrive so that I could continue listening to the next book.
