Excellent story with a protagonist that appears to know what they are doing and good secondary characters. Doesn’t get bogged down and moves along at a pace that allows realistic growth without taking forever to do so.

I’m already on to the next book in this series but what a ending this book had lol it had some crazy crap going on btw the character that passed that sucks he seemed to be a way better person than his family

Took awhile for me to get hooked in the beginning, but I’m happy I stayed around. Reminds me heavily of mmo raiding days, which were both enjoyable and got me somewhat vested in the story. I look forward to book 2
