The book is good. Lots of short info dumps which can be a drain on the story. But even with this happening you still wanna know what happens next.

The second best in the series!Of course I mean ghost water is the best.

Although it was a slow start for me, I was pleasantly surprised. Will Wight has won me over, and I plan to read a few more in this series, at the very least. I loved the pace of writing. If you like progressive fantasy and shonen anime, this series might be for you.

this is overly dramatic, generally I refer to this type as torture porn. a bit a drama is fine if it’s used to progress the story but this is day time tv bad.

This gave me a very mayor of noob town feel, but not as whacky. The quest system makes the system a lot less open than everything suggests. I suspect this might change in book two. If it doesn’t, book 2 will be my last. I’m not really into reading about system quests, system skills and..

Im invested in the old man what can i say. I have finished all but the last book and am already going for my second complete read through.

That said, I would also be chill with Travis Baldree. Will Wight is a genius and a pioneer and Travis Baldree’s performance does Wight’s work justice, as only he can. Cradle is a masterpiece.
