Continuing this intriguing series with another fantastic book. The characters are so great and familiar now, and the story moves along at a good pace. (Good book overall) Don’t get me wrong, the kid isn’t dumb or anything. It’s just that in every life or death situation, he makes the same dumb mistakes. Honestly, you’d think after almost dying once he would have learned…. buuut no same thing time after time.

This is such a unique story. Will Wight takes you to a completely new world unlike any other you’ve encountered. Travis Baldree does an incredible job of making those characters come to life. This has become one of my favorite series.

The first part was kinda cool. The MC found some friends and learned some stuff, but in the 2nd part he goes totally crazy. This non-violent sovereign citizen bullshit and the MC not getting over killing someone in self defense. Maybe ask the ferals for their pronouns.

Overall basically the same thing as the other books in this series. But darker than previous ones slightly. I really dislike that part of this series. Every bad person is always stronger and every one always dies. The mc makes the same mistakes over and over.
