200 chapters of a few minutes long each. very disjointed and repetitive. first in this series was 5 stars. why this weird format?? it did not add to the story, which could have been so much better if it had flowed smoothly. author is very good but should have a better style of story telling..
I still don’t like the narration style, and the author definitely needs to work on scene transitions and time changes, but the characters are interesting and the world building is good. I listened to the first book, and I do want to see what happens next, so I can overlook how much I didn’t care..

Ripley and the men are getting closer as they start learning to work more together. I enjoy the banter between all the characters. Having this narrated by multiple people adds so much to this story.
