Captured me from the beginning to the end. If you know anything about AI or need to know more, this is your read.
Disliked that there were sex scenes….neither was needed in any way at all and, to me, keep this novel from becoming a “classic.” The story was brilliant without anything superfluous.
The plot was very interesting and unexpected. I love books that force me to think. This one forces us to think about some very difficult choices that are gonna have to be made about artificial intelligence.
Let me start with how much I absolutely (usually) love Q B Tyler. I adore forbidden and taboo romance aspects, but… this book just did not do it for me. I need tension and I just did not get that here. Everything started entirely too soon and there was no build up with too much..

Culpability brings the listener/reader into a modern family coping with a the fall out of a car accident involving AI and a self driving minivan. The family, on some levels, is ordinary to with challenging teen dynamics, struggles with tech dominating attention and focus, teens running amuck, etc.. In other ways the family is extraordinary…
This feels like a fully realized new world, with a deep lore that connects everything. It’s a great adventure that I couldn’t help binge-listen! Awaiting audio book 2!
Love how this is written. It’s not too spicy and it wraps up with a great ending. I do wish it had a little more details when talking about the living spaces but other than that it was really well written.
I often got lost in the chapters and enjoyed the authors writing style. I think it would have been easier to follow if things went chronologically instead of bouncing around, that’smy biggest complaint. Overall a great first book by a talented chef about overcoming a difficult upbringing and breaking the cycle.
I loved it. Didn’t want to stop listening it! It gave me a much broader perspective about family dinámics as well as ai consequences in today’s world. Will try to be more aware after this..
