I recommend that anyone interested in what soldiers experiences in WWII were like read this book.

Great story, great characters,and great narration.. I listen to a lot of space military books and this was one of the best. Way to go Craig Martelle.

This book helped me understand our son’s (and my) mentality toward motivation. A must read for any parents of “opt out” boys; those lacking motivation perceived as just being lazy.

Although I didn’t return it, I came really close. It seems the author tries to pull in different successful characters like Bob and Skippy. It’s just really not great, but if it falls into your lap and you need distraction while you do something it’s acceptable.

Interesting take on AI. Good character development. Good battle scenes. Performer can’t do female voice, and the crew has a lot of females, so everyone sounds male. wouldn’t read 2nd book in series.

Narration is melodramatic. Plot is canned, what we’ve heard before. Nothing particularly engaging, but has the makings of a passable B movie.

Some good stories were marred by poor editing and amateurish use of language. Word choice and usage were often questionable.

Pretty good story, not what I expected but worth the listen especially since it’s in the plus catalog

Very well written and the narration is top notch. Must read for any aviation enthusiast. If you want detailed information on the blackbird, then this is the book to get.
