There were quite a few key nuggets of value in this book but unfortunately the author didn’t often delve deep like the talknon pricing wasn’t too in depth. There was too much fluff and stats on the affluent and irrelevant facts. Ok if listen on double speed and skim past some sparts
Seems like good reference material. If you can internalize and implement every point made in this book, you’d probably be off to a good start. Some of the advice may only apply to certain kinds of restaurants (the book seems to focus on slightly “higher end” restaurants), but most of the fundamentals presented would apply..

this book is far more a critique of capitalism than an examination of something that could replace it. The faults of capitalism are detailed in depth, but the proposed replacement (WSDE’s) are effectively glossed over. this book was recommended to me by an entrepreneur pursuing this model and even as someone who is very open..
This book should be required listening for anyone who is going to do missionary work. I’m personally a Christian, but was rooting for the other guy throughout.
