It took me toward the end of the second book to realize it’s connected to the other series Turbulent! Really like TL Payane’s story lines. I think I’m enjoying the development of these characters!
Well written and well read. The struggles these folks endure seems much like the struggles would be in the event this actually happens. Though like any series in this genera it gets bigger as time goes on.

A great read / audiobook about the stories of American World War 2 veterans. The book is really well done and the stories are gripping making it easy to imagine what it was like for these soldiers. I appreciate what Biggio has done for these men. I highly recommend reading or listening to this book.

a great balance of the personal stories and the overall command issues. It was an excellent analysis of both, and of the broader issues of the war.
How do you take a tragedy from the past and infuse it with hope faith and inspiration for the ages? Ask Dan Walsh or listen to this book! I almost didn’t listen as it sounded too sad. I am So glad I did! I love Dan Walsh but think this is my favorite so far!!..

Never really understood the kids reasoning for hating dad, or why it took so long to move the story along. Unbelievable change in attitude of major character, Critical event, kid changes his mind about dad, falls on sword, the end. Love Sanford, hated this book.
