I like the book but definitely the wrong narrator for this story. They should have it reread by another narrator, and what’s up with the static, added to the irritation.

The story is good . If I was reading it or read by a different narrator I would of finished this book. But this book is told by a woman and having a man telling the story just doesn’t work. He made listening to the story unbearable.

Not the worst narrator I’ve ever heard but it was close. I don’t say that easily, I don’t want to criticize someone else’s work. I could never do what narrators do! Not even this one. But if good narration is an absolute requirement for you, you might want to read this one. I liked the..

The narrator was great but the quality of the recording was scratchy. I almost quit 2 hours into it but the story was good.

there is a lot of static that comes in and out, quite irritating could not get it to stop.

And the story was all over the place. I have to agree with others on where did this author come up with the sideline issues that had nothing to do with the actual story. I actually enjoyed the narrator and found his voice to be very soothing but I’ll not be looking at anything else..

This was really kind of silly. I didn’t feel any kind chemistry between Lucius and Tallulah, but the sex scene went on and on, until Tallulah went crazy after Lucius called her by another woman’s name. I couldn’t wait for the book to be done. It just dragged! I want to say it’s just an okay book, but really I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
