Aside from a chapter in the second book and one or two other repeat spots, the narrative was engaging and kept my interest. I liked the different accents she applied. The books themselves were well written and left me wanting more. I didn’t want to stop listening.

I like the story line and the characters. I even enjoy dark story lines; however the romance aspect is fleeting so far, and it holds on to the negative dark aspects too much. I stuck it out until half way through the second book, but now I am done.
