first book I’ve ever listened to about a necromancer so I was excited going into this series and I have to say it did not disappoint! That ending has me foaming at mouth for book 3! the worst part is having to wait for more epic writing.

Absolutely loved this blend of Sherlock Holmes and fantasy. I wasn’t sure where it was going at first, but it really came together and referenced back to everything along the way in some good “aha” moments.

Overall a great book.Story is great just as the rest of the series.Performance was good as it’s just a solid read, not really performed.Worth my time and the credit I saved for it. Only issue I had was the stats chapters, but they were also kinda needed for the world/story/character building.
I like the spirit of the characters in spite of everything they went through! I laughed & I cried!!

I really like Jeneva Rose but this book was PAINFUL. The story isn’t believable and only Nadia is remotely likable. I don’t think I have ever quit a book but I was counting the minutes until this one ended.
