the narrator is so great. he does multiple voices and they all sound different.the story line is fun. the new characters are enjoyable.

I’ve rarely been this bored with a book. All the reviews refer to it as “laugh out loud”. Have the Audible customers been kicked in the head by horses? It’s utter drivel. The central character is as annoying as he is unfunny.
For the record, this has taken over as my favorite Space Team books. It also goes up high on all of my other good book lists, too. Take Space Team, mash it together with 2001: A Space Odyssey, and take a little time to pluck at heartstrings, and you have this book. Barry J. Hutchison..
I gave up about 1/2 way thru – I’ve listened to the space team series of books and liked them well enough, but I just couldn’t get into this one.

I was actually kind of disappointed in Song of the Space Siren, feeling like the Space Team idea was all used up. I’m really glad I gave the series another chance, because The Guns of Nana Joan is exciting and fun and even a little heartwarming. The story is more complex than the predecessors in..
If you haven’t had the pleasure of starting this series from book 1.. well then… You sir or Madame are missing out.. do it.. just listen.. worth every credit… #realtalk

At times it is funny, but not nearly often enough to compensate for the main character, who was easily the hardest thing to survive over, secondary characters faired better but not truly much, a very average scifi book. That said will give second book a go, hoping it would have more soul
This was classic space team, however it lacked a lot of the laugh out loud moments in the other books. Honestly I didn’t really laugh until towards the end of the book. However it’s still a good listen and moves the story along nicely.
It’s a good SPACE book. Anyway, Phil Thron delivers another amazing performance where he really brings the Space Team members to life, enhancing an already fun story. I can’t wait for the next one!
