I can’t imagine physically reading this. it reads like a child’s cartoon on adult topics. The narrator did an awesome job, espeocially for Mech. (yes…..it features a cyborg named “Mech”, it’s that original.), but that’s literally all this book has going for it. I’ve never read a sci fi book that was this cringy before…
One of the books I just listen to at every free minute. Just great humor, amazing characters and performance. 🙂
What can I say? It’s delightful and entertaining and you enjoy being with all the characters and smile, knowing what they are going to say next!

Wow…it’s rare that even funny stuff can make me laugh out loud…repeatedly. I laugh inside, in my head, but you rarely hear it on the outside. Guess I’m self contained that way. I might have giggled some if I was 14. Nothing remarkable. Black Ocean series did a better job of the lovable rogue and characters you can care about. This was an agonizing dribble of snark and shallow conflicts.
