There were some funny parts and the voice acting was top-notch but that was about it. The MC was very whiny, selfish and all-around unlikable through just about the who book. Amazingly clever adventure, parody and humor all rolled into one series. Barry Hutchison is creating classics. Phil Thron is Audible’s best narrator . Listen to his outtakes at the end of lots of the books in the series! Thank you both for getting me through 2020!!!

A overall decent book, quite enjoyable. The plot and storyline is very predictable though, and the humour borders dangerously close to being childish. The characters are also pretty flat. I think this book could work as a funny tv-series.
