while I thought the first 9 books didn’t need to be continued, this was a surprisingly good continuation of the story.

The Story about Gray and his ongoing progress to finding out who he is and what his purpose is as an enchanter continues with excellent imagery and great action. and no character is safe. Phil Thron is, as always, an amazing narrator and ideally suited for this storyline. well worth continuing to the next one!

I hope there’s more to come. There is more story to tell. Zed and his family deserve it.

I don’t understand how anyone enjoyed this. I tried for many long hours to get into the story abd may have at least made it through the book if there had been a good narrator. This monotone story telling was painful. I was very disappointed after reading the glowing reviews.

awesome all around. thought that it would be boring at first but grew to like it.

Great series. Loved the story and characters. Must listen if you have the time. Hopefully more books to come.

Comedy style fluctuates between old Marmaduke comic strips (no setup, no punchline, just one-panel situations you might or might not find amusing) and absurd one-liners. No depth at all, nothing clever in the execution. A superhero kicks a villain in the balls at the story start, then it’s progressively more inane.

This part of the story had me in tears I found it so funny! I hope others that read it can see this comment and think back to that part as well.

Fantastic. Nine books for one credit. Can’t beat that deal. Loved every minute of this read. It has everything I love in a book.

I’m so sad it’s over, I loved every single minute. A must-listen and well worth the time.
