This is still a young adult-type book, with a simplistic plot, lowbrow humor, unnecessary swearing, and lack of understanding of how real people behave. Still there was some suspense and intrigue that kept this entertaining enough. Well-narrated.
Good story and characters… but the stats. Wow, feels like every other chapter about a quarter to half of that chapter is dedicated to stat sheets. John E. Mack a titan with human frailties but an inspiration for those that question authority and aspire towards exploring the boundaries of consciousness,….icing on the cake is a summary of his Pulitzer Prize tome on T.E. Lawrence…. I’m running to listen/read all of his books!

This series hits all the sweet spots. Loved the whole work, minus the last 10 or so, which was a bit overreaching for a happy ending.

I have enjoyed the whole series immensely!!Story is great and every time I got a little bored the author threw in a little something extra. Really enjoyed the narrator as well. He does a fabulous job.

Narration is fantastic, really enjoyed the characters and story, and would highly recommend the series I don’t often binge listen, but this series got me hooked and I couldn’t get enough.
