Between Chrysalis and Book of the Dead, Rhinoz continues to write interesting characters. The plot is enjoyable and we clean up plot threads while opening new ones. The only hard part is waiting for the next book.

it doesn’t suck. I tell you that much right now. it’s good. take on alternate universe lit RPG madness.

much like the first book this was a great book and couldn’t if asked for a better follow up, and now I have to wait for the next one.

This series is excellent so far – I just finished listening to books 1 and 2, and greatly enjoyed the story. I hope the story continues, but even if it doesn’t, these two books are worth a read or listen.

The positive: I’ve enjoyed the story and actions in this series quite a bit. The negative: I find the extensive reading of user’s stats to be tedious and just skip over them (10+ minutes per user).

I had started to read it on RR but when I learned that is was getting published I stopped, it was definitely worth it!

I’m roughly a third of the way through and I’m *really* struggling with this. There’s only so much moralising and self-depricating I can take. Nope. Hey, you, please buy this book. Please. This is worth it. This is a masterpiece. Adventure, progression, drama, humor. Please. We need this guy to keep writing.

Well written and read, worth every penny! The characters transformation towards the end felt right for the situation.
