What startes as an amusing, even at times funny story hits with the revelation the tale is more narration than action. As with any comedy routine when it is engaging you eagerly await each bit to unfold. When it is terminally unfunny, any forgiveness for the shows shortcomings evaporates. Well written, a great story and a fresh take on super heros. The narrator is awesome and the last 6 minutes will have you laughing until you cry 🤣 absolutely awesome and fantastic comedy!

Ivan is such an amazing world builder and character developer. I find myself immersed in each chapter and have to remind myself to turn it off from time to time so I can get things done! I cannot wait for the next installment!
This part of the story took a different turn but I enjoyed it. Wish there was a book 11.
Way to much stat vomit and characters are just ok and I’m starting to see some serious power creep issues. Theres a good chance this is going to turn into a dumpster fire in later books.

I always listen to the tales of the apocalypse just to get some quick laughs that make my day! Just extremely good writing and great narration!

I came from a reddit post describing the story, it sounded like my kind of thing and i’m glad to say it was, definitely worth a read and i’ll be checking in to see when the next books get audio versions. If I had to criticize one small thing, I would say I found it..
The protagonist makes lots of poor choices and doesn’t seem like a good person, or an interesting person. Only the NPCs are kind of interesting. The content is thin and poorly paced. Too much time is spent on things that never become significant. So far, I’ve only found 3 authors that do a passable job..
