I have loved the series so far….but book five was rough for me. I had a hard time keeping up with so many characters and what everyone was doing. Honestly I felt as if I am Kal was trying to do too much. The storyline with the two main characters of plenty enough. I hope..
The beginning had me laughing heartily in several spots, the middle had me actually listening, and the end was a satisfactory dose of entertainment I hadn’t expected. Pick it up for the fun, stay for the story. Well played, author/narrator. I just cheered for a vacuum.

The Main character is unbelievably talented and powerful for his level due to hard work, talent, and support from his family but it doesn’t help him that much, in fact half the time it makes his problems worse

One of the best writers in the genre, not only from a technical perspective but also in terms of storytelling, worldbuilding, and character development. I wish other authors would take note, because it’s honestly refreshing to not have to keep listening to the other authors recycle the same adjectives 50 times per chapter, sometimes 2-3..
