I couldn’t connect with any of the characters. Except for one, they were all pieces of garbage, emotionally stunted, selfish, and actually stupid.

Great concept and well narrated. Plagued by a cast of characters that are all quite annoying in their own way. I like a story with at least one likable character.

I love this story. It’s maybe one of my favorites from the Shifters because of the additional magical elements added this time. The characters are a amazing as always. The story is set in the not too distant future, and I’m willing to go with some improbable things for a good story, but I kept finding myself thinking that “there’s no way this makes any sense” throughout the book.
