First off the captain sneaking a gun in space and then to show contempt to all the BS that happened during travel totally BS which I didn’t care for. I didn’t care for the ending at all.

if you’re looking for a space-based science fiction book, this is not the book for you. most of the book takes place Planetside, in a very low tech way. That’s not to say that the book was bad, it just was not at all what I expected.

Really enjoy this series. Love the action, technological inclusion, and the sometimes hilarious exchanges between the main characters, reminiscent in short bursts only of “Beavis and Butthead.” But only briefly. This was probably one of the best books so far in the series. I laughed and cried. Ugh. I love these characters as if they were my own family.
