This is definitely a different concept, with a shifter series. In this series, the shifters make up the majority and the humans, once thought extinct, are an extreme minority. The language was awful and definitely could not listen to it with kids around or on a road trip like the Omega Force books my sons like. Story was Ok, I guess Joshua has spoiled us.
