This book was filled with tired romance novel tropes that were even less believable in the context of an alien interaction. Worse, though, there was no emotional transition between “You’re kidnapping me, not cool,” to “why aren’t you kissing me,” to “I love you more than life.”

Sci Fi Romance with some interesting twists. Not just fluff but an actual story line that I haven’t encountered yet.I wonder if the second book in the series will pull me in further or leave me sneezing in a gathering of star dust.Time will tell.

Struggled to finish. Sorry. Like SE Smith generally, just not this one. Too undisciplined of a storyline, and borrowings from other series too obvious.

Liked the story hope there is more plot in the next books, will continue if available at Romance Package.
