Shallow story line

I felt this book had a very shallow story line. I will try not to give spoilers. The main character has no field experience at beginning is given command of an elite scout team…unrealistic. Betrayals on elite scout team are shrugged off by team members… unrealistic.

overall it’s a great store line but some of the little things like their “vows” get real repetitive when they are repeated three or four times a book. once a book to tie them together sure but once every time they have sex really interrupts the flow
