Like all books by Mr Foner beautifully crafted scholarship. While shorter then his longer reconstruction history it had more then enough for me, just about the right length. Found Mr Heitsch reading to be a bit too fast, would find myself drifting while I was listening and have to rewind
This is the third Dalzelle book I’ve tried, and while I like the adventurous tenor of the books, I finally had to admit it was too frustrating to listen to the parts of the writing that are just dumb. A human being in a completely alien civilization, and every species has the same human mannerisms…
first book I’ve read by this author, but will definitely pick up more. I loved this story, can’t wait for the next to find out what these characters do next!
Oh Dear. Yet another Sci-Fi writer with no imagination. Our hero Jacob meets up with aliens, they are described as different & not what he imagined, Ok so I will just guess what they look like then. The starship is described as big with no windows, but very sleek, well I will just imagine that..

Great premise for a book. I grew up around New York and saw it change personalities. The power of the city was the authenticity of the people that lived there and now it is a world class collection of phonies. There was always some change going on in the background and there were always plenty..

Love this series with each one I laugh my ass off. I so enjoy seeing Satan and all the others in such different lights then they are in other stories. This is a wonderful series and if you haven’t read book one you need to start there for this one to make sense.

Getting more of Tia was fabulous. The SE Smith blends the stories and make them feel all interconnected is one of the main reasons that I always come back for more.
