robotic narration is distracting

The narration is so poor that it distracts from the actual content of the book. It almost sounded robotic – like if Siri had read the book. The pronunciation of Chinese names was absolutely egregious. I don’t expect 100% authentic pronunciations, but in this book it was particularly bad.

I usually have a hard time finding books on tape that get my attention right from the get-go but this book drew me in right away. The narrator has a really great mellow voice as well. I really enjoyed the back story and the characters. I can’t wait to read/listen to the next ones.
