This audiobook tries WAY to hard to be current and conversational. The narration is breathlessly emphatic and ultimately tiresome. I find the editor’s prior audiobook ‘Meister Eckhart’s Book of Secrets: Meditations on Letting Go and Finding True Freedom’ very useful and it’s much appreciated.

I read the real book years ago, but listening was just as fun! I couldn’t stop reading it.I was married to a boat captain for almost 3 decades. This is so real!A few words not pronounced correctly but I find that in every book set in Alaska. Tiresome but shrug I guess

This is more of the Steeles featuring Reid and Brynne. I love the way the depth of the characters is revealed. This book has mystery, action, romance, and fun. The performance is very good, although the voices for the female characters took a bit of getting used to.
