Don’t bother. The story was weak and predictable. The characters were cardboard cutouts. The science fiction completely incompetent and, the narrator sounds like the 1950s classroom propoganda film voice over. I pray this author never writes anything ever again.

Takes a while to get moving as the early chapters are a bit to “machine” and seem dry or overly mechanical. As it progresses there become more distinctions between individual characters. After defining the differences between ships and characters it moves along nicely. I typically listen in my car and this book often got to..
Why isn’t this book a movie yet?

I am a huge Kathryn LeVeque fan. This is my favorite contemporary novel of hers. The narrator is excellent, and able to convey all the emotions of the characters. The story moves along at a good pace. You can’t help but root for the two main characters, Cord and Alix. Are there really men out..
This was so good.
