Anti humanist, with funny idioms

The primary motivator for the hero was to save the animals. Which becomes pathetic when used to justify placing within harms way or even murdering the human/sentient races. Once this is realized and ignored, the book becomes a pratfall comedy with funny idioms. Waste of $8
