This series was great! J.A. Huss did another fantastic series. However, the male narrator is like listening to Mr. Rogers trying to read about BDSM! The female was perfect for this character. I loved the series & listen to all six books but I will not listen to anything this male narrator ever does again!

I think I read that Huss is going to revise these stories—narration, at least. It’s not terrible, but the speed with which the narrators talk was distracting enough for me to adjust the speed between the male and female speakers (she is too fast, he is like a turtle). Loved the story but the female narrator made the male characters she voiced sound like Igor or some other creepy sidekick. Especially Christian. I cringed each time she had to speak for someone that wasn’t the main character. Male narrator was great and the story is lovely though.
